The Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta is the opening venue for the 2012 Abilities Expo, a series of events for assistive technology users and their caregivers and families.
The event, Feb. 17-19, features an exhibit hall of seating & mobility, accessibility and aids to daily living products, as well as free educational workshops and demonstrations of wheelchair sports, wheelchair dancing and service animals. Certificates of participation are available for healthcare professionals who attend the seminars.
The other 2012 venues and dates for the Abilities Expo are Los Angeles (March 30-April 1); New York Metro (May 4-6); Chicago (June 29-July 1); Houston (Aug. 3-5); and San Jose, Calif. (Nov. 16-18).
