HDIS Acquires Best Buy Healthcare

Best Buy Healthcare, a Web-based, direct-to-consumer business that delivers DME to customers' doors, has been purchased by Home Delivery Incontinent Supplies (HDIS) of St. Louis.

Best Buy (www.bestbuyhealthcare.com) sells mobility equipment, including scooters and consumer power chairs, in addition to ADLs, beds and bath safety equipment.

"Joining the Best Buy brand with HDIS allows us to achieve two of our primary strategic objectives," said Bruce Grench, HDIS president. "First, building our core incontinence business by pulling together key channel leaders, and second, adding new product lines in senior home health care, a high-growth market."
