MED Group Changes National Rehab Summit Dates

The MED Group has announced its 2009 National Rehab Summit will be held in Denver on May 19-20, a change made "to take advantage of better travel and hotel rates for attendees," according to a news release this week.
Said National Rehab Network Director David Jones, "We worked with our hotel to determine how to drive some cost out of our event, then had to think long and hard on how the date change would affect MED Group members."
The event will now take place about three and a half weeks earlier than originally scheduled. "We made the change because of cuts going on within the industry, if not the country," Jones added. "It was in our members' best interest to find dates that would allow them to save travel expenses."
