SCOOTER Store to Roll Out Retail Stores Nationwide

The SCOOTER Store plans to open retail stores nationwide, following a pilot program that tested eight retail locations, the company has announced.
While hundreds of SCOOTER Store sales representatives currently cover territories in 48 states, adding a network of retail locations - 59 total - will give consumers the opportunity to personally view and try out mobility equipment in a local retail setting, according to a March 4 news release.
Says CEO Doug Harrison, "We found that a growing number of our customers appreciate the retail experience where they have an opportunity to view the products with knowledgeable salespeople. Over the last two years, we have made significant progress at placing our health-care professionals closer to the customer and physician."
