MK Battery Awards Checks to AAHomecare, NCART, NRRTS

A six-month campaign called "Power for Funding" has resulted in nearly $75,000 being donated by MK Battery to the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare), NCART and NRRTS.

MK Battery donated $1 for every MK Gel battery sold to DME providers from May 1 through Oct. 31.

Said MK Battery's HME Category Manager Dennis Sharpe, "We were delighted with the high level of provider participation and interest, and proud to support our industry advocates with this initiative." The checks, each worth nearly $25,000, were on display at Medtrade in Atlanta last month.

Providers who helped the effort by purchasing Gel batteries will be given certificates of appreciation.
