2008 Heartland Conference Sells Out Exhibit Hall

April 23, 2008 by Mobility Management

This year’s Heartland Conference will feature expanded exhibit hall hours to give attendees more time to view products and conduct business, The VGM Group has announced.

The Heartland Conference at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in VGM’s hometown of Waterloo, Iowa, takes place June 9-12.

VGM says the convention center is sold out, and 67 vendors will be attending. The event’s platinum sponsors are Invacare Corp., Lake Court Medical, Permobil and Respironics.

In addition to the exhibit hall, the conference will feature intensive educational sessions in a range of different tracks, including Executive, Operations, Regulatory/Competitive Bidding, Rehab, and Reimbursement.

VGM says it expects a number of professional organizations — including the National Registry of Rehab Technology Suppliers (NRRTS), the Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) and the University of Pittsburgh — to offer continuing education units for course completion.

U.S. Rehab will offer special tech training, and the Certified Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC) and RESNA exams will be offered during Heartland.
