da Vinci Awards Call for Nominations
The Awards Search Committee has opened nominations for the 2008 da Vinci Awards. The da Vinci Awards recognize the most innovative developments and research in adaptive and assistive technology that embrace the universal design principle. Also recognized are those individuals and corporations who distinguish themselves as visionaries in the quest for equal access and opportunity for all people.
Nominees represent a broad spectrum of sciences, technologies and industries, and are from a number of countries. Nomination forms are available online at www.davinciawards.org.
Submissions for 2008 are due by May 19, 2008.
The da Vinci Awards were founded seven years ago by Michael J. Rokosz, former Ford Motor Company research scientist, president of MJR Labs and board member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Michigan Chapter.
