Do you know a woman doing incredible work in the Home Medical Equipment (HME) or Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) fields in Canada?
From now through Aug. 19, you can nominate her for VGM Canada’s newly created Canadian HME Woman of the Year.
In a July 21 announcement, the member services organization said, “Nominators are encouraged to provide examples of how the nominee has made significant contributions throughout her career to serve her patients, community, business, and the HME and mobility industry. Nominees can be suppliers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, manufacturers, and other professionals in the HME or mobility industry.”
Dave Davies, President of VGM Canada, said in the announcement, “We’re excited to introduce the Canadian HME Woman of the Year Award. This award provides recognition and visibility to incredible leaders in our industry. There are so many deserving candidates out there. We all know a woman who has made significant contributions to the HME or mobility industry in Canada. We are excited to bring this award to our colleagues.”
Submit nominations online through Aug. 19. The winner will be chosen by “a committee of HME and mobility professionals,” VGM Canada said, and announced at the Canadian Seating & Mobility Conference in October.
