Matrx Elan Headrest
This new headrest has been a godsend in my facility for providing more optimal head control compared to all the other headrests we’ve tried. It gives suboccipital and lateral control that can be infinitely adjusted/readjusted to each user. I love it!

Power Anterior Tilt
Forward reach made easier: A separate power module provides up to 30° of anterior tilt, while maintaining full posterior tilt abilities. The module is designed for use with Motion Concepts’ UltraLow Maxx Power Positioning system and is especially effective with the elevating module to support daily activities, including self or assisted transfers and visual field orientation. The rear of the entire system (i.e., tilt or tilt/recline) is raised. A Synchronized Option for Center Mount Front Rigging with Anterior Tilt maintains the leg angle as the client anteriorly tilts. Seat-to-floor heights as low as 18" are possible. Weight capacity is 250 lbs.
Combining the highly maneuverable, mid-wheel-drive X3 power base with Ultra Low Maxx Power Positioning and Invacare Matrx Seating gives clinicians the ability to supply kids and adults with all the function and durability they crave. The compact X3 has a 20" turning radius and a new 6.2-mph top speed, with faster acceleration. Ultra Low Maxx Power Positioning is a modular, expandable system with up to 50° of CG tilt and 170° of recline. The Matrx Elite TR back is built especially for tilt and tilt/recline, and Matrx PS/Vi and Libra cushions provide positioning and skin protection.
ROVI X3 + Matrx Mini Seating
Key Kids’ Words: Seating and mobility combo for exploring
Motion Concepts has created a special seating and mobility combo especially for its littler customers: the ROVI X3 power base with Ultra Low Maxx power positioning and Invacare Matrx Mini Seating from Motion Concepts. The results are a small footprint thanks to a modular, easy-to-adjust system. The X3 base offers a turning radius of 20" and a base width of just 23.25" to allow kids to maneuver in kid-sized spaces. The Matrx Mini Back is contoured to provide support without restricting mobility and play, and it includes truly pediatric Mini Set hardware for optimal ease of positioning and growth.
With a unique frame design, the ROVI X3 creates more stability for pediatric users while also featuring one of the smallest bases available, at just 23.25" in overall width. Thanks to a turning radius of 20", the ROVI X3 is able to access a number of tighter environments. A powerful drivetrain and patented ARC suspension create a commanding, but nimble driving experience. The battery compartment holds two Group 34 batteries, or — if a ventilator is needed — the compartment will hold three 50-amp-hour batteries. A complimentary USB port charges kids’ electronics.

The solid carbon fiber back shell is contoured for optimal fit and support, and cutouts reduce weight and buildup of heat and moisture. Your most active users will appreciate the new 6" back height.
An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2017:
I really like this new entry in the carbon fiber market. The back is really lightweight and has some flexibility in the shell so you can have some movement without adding any type of dynamic hardware. The hardware is also small/light, which helps decrease overall weight and lessen the profile of the system.
