Serving the Seating & Wheeled Mobility Professional
This indoor/outdoor frame for a seating
system features user-friendly height adjustment
from floor to table height. That height
adjustment allows the user to be positioned
close to the floor or at table height and
enables them to be at eye level with their
peers or to join in at the dinner table with
their family. Adjusting the height and tilt of
the seat during standing or seated transfers
might be the little extra that enables the
user to be active during transfers to and
from the seat, either independently or by
means of a caregiver or an assistive device. In
addition, the caregiver can adjust the height
when supporting the child in various tasks.
R82/Convaid have announced the North American launch of Wombat Living by R82, designed as a best-in-class, daily tilt-in-space activity chair that improves upon the original. Created for use at school and at home, Wombat Living comes in three sizes and two fresh new colors, and it’s capable of multiple configurations. The seating unit tilts from -20° to 15° for relaxed and active postures with plenty of adjustment for growth. An angle-adjustable push brace can be positioned out of the way when not needed. Accessories include a power actuator for height adjustment, lateral supports and head supports.
