Serving the Seating & Wheeled Mobility Professional
Utilizing AMF-Bruns of America’s leading-edge technology, SmartRamp uses
perforated aluminum profiles that are
lightweight, non-slip and extra-strong.
Additionally, SmartRamp is available in a
variety of lengths and widths, handles a
weight capacity of 660 to 1102 lbs., and has
an optional 90° opening. The ramp can be
installed as a straight fold-up or swivel-mount and can withstand 20G collision
forces. SmartRamp works in conjunction
with AMF-Bruns’ eFutureSafe Head & Backrest/Seatbelt, which can allow wheelchair
users to drive safely and comfortably.
AMF-Bruns’ SmartRamps are made of non-slip, perforated aluminum that’s ultra strong and lightweight. The ramps are center folding and fitted with quick-locking systems that are easy to operate, with two handles and a pneumatic absorber. Choose from a straight fold-up or a swivel-mounted model: Both meet ADA regulations for paratransit use. These robust ramps are 20G collision tested.
The newest member of the AMFBruns of America family of vehicle solutions is the eFutureSafe Head & Backrest/Seatbelt Anchorage system, which allows customized head, back and neck adjustments. No more twisting and turning for maximum relief! The patented design of the eFutureSafe can withstand 15G rear collision forces and 20G frontal collisions. eFutureSafe is easy to install, move and clean. When it’s not in use, it can be turned inward toward the vehicle wall to save space inside the vehicle. The system can be side mounted or floor mounted, and it’s compatible with AMF-Bruns restraint systems. It’s a system that gets wheelchair users back on the road in comfort and safety.
A new hand-controlled adjustment
feature allows wheelchair
users to travel in greater
comfort and safety in automotive
vehicles. The system has the
ability to customize head, back
and neck adjustments, and the
device’s patented design meets
all applicable regulations —
it can withstand 15G rear and
20G frontal collision forces.
This anchorage is compatible
with AMF-Bruns restraint systems, can be turned inward toward the
vehicle wall to save space when the vehicle doesn’t have a wheelchair
passenger, and can be either side or floor mounted. The system is
also easy to install, move and clean.
This wheelchair securement system with
retractors is fully integrated into the floor
to free up valuable floor space and increase
passenger capacity. The Hide-A-Way enables
drivers to quickly and easily “mix and match”
passenger wheelchairs with non-wheelchair
seats. Fold-up passenger seats can be
installed directly over the restraints. The
system fits transit, para-transit and mobility
vehicles and is foot activated for ease of
use. Hide-A-Way uses self-locking and self-tensioning
retractors. The system meets the
ISO 10542 standard, among others.
This adjustable head and backrest system features an upper anchorage
point for the shoulder belt to help optimize wheelchair passenger
safety in an automotive collision. The system meets RESNA WC18 and
ISO 10542 standards. AMF-Bruns also offers PROTEKTOR-System wheelchair
and occupant restraints, including ones that meet the RESNA
WC18 standard for wheelchairs with an integrated lap belt.
