Serving the Seating & Wheeled Mobility Professional
The BOSS 675 HD Equalizer offers 0° to 50° of tilt to bariatric clients weighing up to 600 lbs. New articulating legrests provide further positioning options. The BOSS 675 also offers 3" center-of-gravity balance adjustment; arms that are height, length, angle and width adjustable; and a seat that adjusts to a 30" width and 26" depth. But this power chair also achieves a low seat-to-floor height of 17.5" to remain compatible with its user’s environment. The BOSS 675 is available with a solid seat pan or captain’s seating.
Offering a full range of tilt while also maintaining an environmentally practical low seat-to-floor height isn’t easy — but PaceSaver’s BOSS HD Equalizer system does just that. It provides 0° to 50° of weight-shifting tilt while managing to keep the seat-to-floor height at 17.5" to enable power chair users to optimally access various daily environments. The BOSS HD also offers 3" of center-of-gravity balance adjustment. The seat adjusts to 30" wide and 26" deep, and the sculptured back adjusts in angle, depth, height and back gap. Available options include elevating legrests or heavy-duty elevating legrests; swing-away and center column extra-wide/long footrest; thigh/hip/elbow supports; swing-away joystick mount; tie-down anchor points; and oxygen tank, among others.
This tilt system is capable of supporting up to 450 lbs. or 600 lbs. and can weight shift from 0° to 50° while maintaining a low center of gravity. The system also has a 3" center of gravity balance adjustment. The seat adjusts to a 30" width, 26" depth and a seat height of 17.5". The sculptured back adjusts in angle, depth, height and back gap. Options include O2 holder and tie-down anchor points.
With a 450-lb. or 600-lb. weight capacity, the
BOSS HD Equalizer bariatric tilt system can
provide weight-shifting and pressure relief
actions critical to clients’ well-being and
comfort. Fully adjustable to clients’ shapes and
environments, the BOSS HD system provides
0° to 50° tilt while maintaining a low center
of gravity. The system also has 3" of center-of-gravity balance adjustment, and the seat
adjusts to 30" wide and 26" deep with just a
17.5" seat height. Armrests are height, length,
angle and width adjustable to accommodate
redundant tissue. Sculptured back also adjusts.
Despite its 675-lb. weight capacity, the BOSS 6.75 is still nimble indoors, with a 27" turning radius and ultra-low seat-to-floor heights. Outdoors, the 180-amp module controller and 1.75-hp inline drive supply great range (18 miles) and power (climb an 8°, 140-yard hill 20 times). The step-on footrest facilitates transfers. The BOSS 6.75 separates into six pieces for easy transport, or the chair’s tie-down system can be used to secure it within an accessible vehicle.
