Bodypoint Ankle Huggers help balance the lower body in response to upper-body movements to help keep pediatric users in their ideal position. Unique laminar pads evenly distribute pressure around the ankle, stabilizing the lower body. This innovative system is a comfortable, dynamic alternative to rigid shoe holders and foot straps. Reinforcing material made of synthetic leather increases support where it’s needed, while the updated Achilles flex-zone on the back panel adds flexibility for a comfortable fit. Sizing is based on circumference above the ankle: XS (5 ½–6 ¾"), S (6 ½–8"), M (7 ½–9 ¼"), L (9–11"), XL (10 ½–13").

PivotFit

Distributing pressure across a greater surface area than a traditional H-style harness, the PivotFit Shoulder Harness has a body-contouring shape for optimal support and comfortable fit. Curved laminar pads follow the contours of the shoulders and ribcage, with a low-placed sternum strap to reduce the risk of strangulation while providing easy adjustability. Evoflex + Belt Extender

The Evoflex Hip Belt is now easier to mount without compromising user fit. Evoflex’s stiffened end straps stay upright or pivot out of the way when you want, and stay where you put them. Straps won’t twist or fall into the wheels, thus facilitating transfers and making it easier to keep the straps clean. A patented, tapered design improves stability by allowing a closer fit. Shoulder Harness Strap Guides

As seen at the 2019 International Seating Symposium: Place and keep chest and shoulder harnesses exactly where you want them. Bodypoint’s new Shoulder Harness Strap Guides provide a customized fit, even on low or contoured backrests. Elevate the mounting position of top straps to achieve the ideal angle for more even pressure distribution over the shoulder. The guides feature super-strong spring steel that absorbs shock to prevent damage to the back; integrated holes allow easy harness attachment, no extra drilling needed. Long mounting slots accommodate a range of backrests and offer greater adjustability. Optional Mounting Adapters (lower photo) enable the use of existing headrest holes to minimize the need for drilling and to make fine-tuning the fit easy and convenient. These sleek, easy-to-install guides optimize the positioning and comfort of chest and shoulder harness straps on almost any backrest, while enabling the use of harnesses on more chairs. Grooved Mushroom Joystick Handle

The textured, rounded top of this new joystick is comfortable and secure for users grasping from above. Users grasping the joystick from the side will find its grooved shaft helpful and can tuck their fingers below the knob. Top and side grooves provide superior grip control, even for users with limited hand function. The joystick has an optimal height for gripping, but can be easily trimmed for those needing to use a palmar hand position or fingertip control. Bodypoint shower chair belts and wheelchair calf supports are made from Aeromesh, a polyester mesh that is silky and smooth, not stiff against the skin. Swivel Buckle Hip Belts

Thanks to popular demand, Bodypoint hip belts now feature a low-profile, lightweight swivel buckle that pivots to equalize tension for greater user comfort. Made from black toughened resin, the swivel buckle is discreet but very strong, and it can easily snap together at various angles without jamming. The push release mechanism is more difficult to press to prevent unwanted or unintentional buckle release. The swivel buckle is now available in a 2-Point Padded Hip Belt and an Evoflex Pelvic Stabilizer.
