Gel-U-Seat
Designed to redistribute pressure to assist in the prevention of pressure injuries, the Gel-U-Seat cushion incorporates high-density foam encapsulating a dual-chamber gel bladder for patient comfort. A water-resistant, low-shear stretch nylon cover with tie straps secures the cushion to the wheelchair. Sizes range from 16x16" to 24x18"; all sizes of this cushion are 3" in height.

Its versatile design enables the Moxie Gait Trainer to be used in an anterior or posterior position. Moxie is height adjustable in 1" increments and has a directional lever to allow for forward and backward mobility or forward mobility only. Wheel locks on all casters keep Moxie stationary during transfers, and swivel casters can be locked in a non-swivel position. The Drive Medical Titanium Skin Protection and Positioning Gel/Foam cushion is designed to offer superior pressure redistribution via a combination of resilient, high-density foam and a dual-chamber gel bladder. Together, these media are designed to encourage proper posture through immersion into the cushion. A middle contour assists with positioning as a built-in leg abductor. Drive’s new collection of Comfort Touch cushions, part of its Pressure Prevention product line, includes an elevation wedge, a knee support cushion, a neck support pillow, a seat cushion and a heated lumbar support backrest. Many models offer hot and/or cold therapy options. The Elevation Wedge (pictured) features 1" of memory foam as its top layer to conform to the user’s head and neck. The Wedge can also be used in an upright position to provide lumbar support while sitting in bed.
