HELIO C2
The HELIO C2 features revolutionary
components, an impeccable finish, and all
the advantages of carbon fiber. Every detail
improves performance and reduces weight
to lessen the energy required to propel. With
its advanced engineering, the HELIO C2 is
one of the lightest, most technologically
advanced wheelchairs in its category. The
chair capitalizes on carbon fiber’s vibration-damping characteristics that promote
client health and independence. An HD
configuration option adds minimal weight
to the frame. A patented symmetrical cross
brace enhances propulsion efficiency and
provides exceptional durability.

NXT BioFit
2021 Mobility Product Award Winner: Seat Cushions (E2607-2608)
The BioFit’s multi-layer design provides
deep immersion, support and skin protection
for users at medium to high risk of
skin breakdown by redistributing pressure over the full sitting
surface. The sleek BioFit features smartx3D four-way stretch
fabric for breathability, durability and comfort. A smartGEL foam
offers a higher Indent Force Deflection and Density to reduce
heat buildup and minimize skin integrity issues.

APEX
The award-winning APEX ultralightweight
rigid wheelchair is available with an
aluminum or carbon fiber frame in seat
widths and depths from 12" to 20" (30.5 cm
to 50.8 cm). Dial in a precise fit for each user
and user lifestyle by choosing front and rear
seat-to-floor heights; camber (0°, 2°, 4°, 6°
or 8°); center of gravity; footrest angle (in 5°
increments); back angle (80° to 101°); armrest
height; and overall width. Design details
include an integrated guard and rigidizing
system. Laser-etched markings allow easier
adjustment of key components to specify
exact positioning.

Helio Manual Wheelchair
An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2017:
The Motion Composites Helio line is great in that with just changing the center brace, you can have a heavy-duty weight capacity of 350 lbs. with no additional weight of the chair. The chair already is the lightest K0005 I’ve ever used, so having an ultralight heavy-duty unit is nice. Also, the parts compatibility is really good across the Helio line. The carbon upgrade is competitive with titanium upgrades of other chairs, but cuts a huge amount of weight from an already light chair. This material is a game changer for weight: Titanium wasn’t really any lighter than the newest aluminums, but carbon is way lighter.

APEX Carbon
Designed to optimize ride, reduce weight
and provide optimal stability and performance,
the new APEX uses state-of-the-art
carbon fiber manufacturing technology
to produce a frame that is lightest in class
as well as durable and adjustable. With a
special rigidizing system, the APEX delivers
the smooth ride you expect from carbon
fiber, but also increases lateral stability
and responsiveness. APEX’s carbon fiber is
molded to precise specifications and tested
to ISO and ANSI/RESNA standards. APEX has
a transport weight of 9.2 lbs. to facilitate
vehicle transfers.

APEX
Cutting-edge carbon fiber
technology gives the ultralightweight
design of the new
APEX outstanding strength
and durability. With a transport
weight of just 9.2 lbs., APEX
provides superior weight in a fully
adjustable rigid chair. A more
open, responsive design concept
increases rear-frame rigidity and
improves lateral stability, while
maintaining top-of-the-line
comfort and easy transportability
for active lifestyles.

Helio A7
A cutting-edge design and 7000 series aluminum have produced the Helio A7, which in its standard configuration is the lightest in its category, according to Motion Composites. The A7 features a Symmetrical Hydroformed Crossbrace, oval-shaped tubes, and oversized pivot axles working with an Ultrarigid Folding System to maximize rigidity and conserve user energy. The A7 can achieve a seat-to-floor height as low as 13.5" (with a 4" caster and a standard frame).

Helio C2
Now available in America, the Helio C2 boasts a transport weight of just 12 lbs. while offering strength and durability thanks to carbon fiber technology. The C2’s symmetrical crossbrace and one-piece side frame reduces weight and distributes forces equally throughout the frame for superior energy transfer and propulsion efficiency. The C2 is also available in a heavy-duty model (350-lb. weight capacity while weighing just 6 ounces more than a standard C2).
Motion Composites
Veloce
Using a system that Motion Composites calls “Ultrarigid Folding,” the Veloce features a symmetrical carbon fiber crossbrace, oval-shaped tubes and oversized pivot axles to maximize frame rigidity and responsiveness. But the transportability traits of a folding chair are also preserved for consumers who prefer to fold and go. With a total weight of 17.6 lbs. and a transport weight of 11.22 lbs., the Veloce is a breeze to lift and store in a motor vehicle.
