Q’STRAINT
QLK-150 for WHILL
Q’Straint’s QLK-150 bracket is now available to secure the WHILL Model M power wheelchair and Model A personal mobility device inside automotive vehicles. The QLK-150 is “iQ certified,” meaning it’s passed Q’Straint’s crash test — which is on par with the automotive industry standard of 30 mph/20Gs. Plus, Q’Straint ran the WHILL devices through a series of real-life user obstacles, including various types of terrain, to make sure the Q’Straint bracket interface didn’t interfere with the WHILL devices’ functions and maneuvers. The QLK-150 bracket is also available to fit hundreds of other wheelchairs made by various manufacturers.

Automatic Head & Backrest/Seatbelt Anchorage
A new hand-controlled adjustment
feature allows wheelchair
users to travel in greater
comfort and safety in automotive
vehicles. The system has the
ability to customize head, back
and neck adjustments, and the
device’s patented design meets
all applicable regulations —
it can withstand 15G rear and
20G frontal collision forces.
This anchorage is compatible
with AMF-Bruns restraint systems, can be turned inward toward the
vehicle wall to save space when the vehicle doesn’t have a wheelchair
passenger, and can be either side or floor mounted. The system is
also easy to install, move and clean.

Hide-A-Way Securement System
This wheelchair securement system with
retractors is fully integrated into the floor
to free up valuable floor space and increase
passenger capacity. The Hide-A-Way enables
drivers to quickly and easily “mix and match”
passenger wheelchairs with non-wheelchair
seats. Fold-up passenger seats can be
installed directly over the restraints. The
system fits transit, para-transit and mobility
vehicles and is foot activated for ease of
use. Hide-A-Way uses self-locking and self-tensioning
retractors. The system meets the
ISO 10542 standard, among others.
Innovation in Motion
Docking Pin
Magic Mobility (better known as Innovation
In Motion to ATPs and clinicians in the United
States) has always offered a docking pin
system on its power wheelchairs. But the
pin could get caught on obstacles when
the power chair was being operated. The
solution: a retractable docking pin that stays
out of the way when not in use, but is quick
and easy to deploy when needed. Innovation
In Motion’s new retractable docking pin
system is crash tested and can be fitted to
any Frontier V6 MWD, FWD or RWD model of
power wheelchair. For added convenience,
the new docking pin system is compatible
with popular 2015 Q’Straint and EZ Lock
docking stations.
Q’STRAINT
QLK-150
Designed to provide maximum independence,
the QLK-150 docking system is ideal
for wheelchair users who drive their own
vehicles or want to be able to quickly secure
their own chairs via a single-point system.
The QLK-150 has successfully crash tested
forward, rearward and sideways to higher
WC19 standards. It has a compact design
featuring a larger touch area and embedded
LED indicators that show system status.
Optional base mounts achieve clearance
as low as 1.5" and as high as 4". Its flush
surface eliminates snags and gives 3/16" of
additional bolt clearance.
