Splashy Bath Seat

Splashy Bath Seat

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) is the exclusive American distributor of Splashy, the new portable bath seat from Firefly by Leckey. To adapt to the child’s postural support needs, Splashy offers a five-point harness or three-point pelvic support. The seat has four detachable bumpers to lend extra support where it’s needed. The warm-touch foam is soft when wet or dry, and the seat reclines easily to position the child at the ideal angle for bathing. Travel-friendly Splashy will also be right at home in other wet environments, such as the beach or garden. Splashy will be co-distributed by NSM locations throughout the United States, as well as by AccessNSM locations, which focus on home accessibility solutions.

Flamingo

Flamingo

The Flamingo toilet/bathing chair comes in four sizes to accommodate clients from childhood through young adulthood. The seat tilts, and the Flamingo’s back can be angled to achieve the ideal seating and posture during hygiene activities. Flamingo’s adjustable height enables it to be placed over a toilet — or use a pan instead. Accessories include a head support, a push brace to maneuver the unit, sides that provide moderate torso control and positioning, and swing-away side supports. The seat is now also available in blue in addition to standard gray. The largest size (size 4) has a 154-lb. weight capacity.

Raz-CAT

Raz-CAT

The Raz-CAT (Compact Attendant Tilt) is both a growable pediatric rehab shower commode chair and a perfect fit for smaller adults. It accommodates growth via seat depth adjustment and the options of three back widths in two different heights. The unique tapered aperture — wider in the rear — provides an increasingly wider commode opening as the seat depth is increased. Seat depth can be adjusted from 11" to 16". Back widths of 14", 16" and 18" can be selected in either 15" or 18" heights. Tilt range is 40° or 25° when combined with the optional 30° reclining back. With any back selection, the Raz-CAT will fit over standard toilet bowls.

multiCHAIR 6000

multiCHAIR 6000

An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2017:

I use the Nuprodx line [multiCHAIR 6000, pictured] of bath transfer equipment mainly due to the ability to adjust for varied bathroom layouts, the narrow width of the transport section, and it’s made of metal vs. plastic. This allows for very little wear/breakage with years of use, and it can handle additional support pieces, such as trunk laterals and headrests.
