Java Cushion

Java Cushion

Built to aid in the reduction of pressure and tissue deformation, the Java cushion’s patented contour redistributes forces of pressure and shear from high-risk areas, while selectively applying the forces to more tolerant areas to help decrease long-term skin risk. The lightweight cushion is also engineered to help skin stay cooler and drier, while improving sitting stability.

An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2016:

We’ve been seeing a lot of success with this cushion for users of all sorts of diagnoses, such as spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and even Alzheimer’s. It does a wonderful job of protecting the skin by offloading bony prominences and improving air circulation, and it promotes upright sitting by preventing posterior pelvic tilt. For fans of Ride custom seating, this is the off-the-shelf cushion we’ve been waiting for!

Embrace ATI

Embrace ATI

An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2016:

I like the Embrace ATI to accommodate mild/moderate obliquities that can be adjusted, but will stay in the desired position. I also like the simple option of covers.

Evolution Cushion

Evolution Cushion

An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2016:

When all else fails and we trial the Evolution cushion, it almost always comes up big. A foam and air cushion, the Evolution does not require a hand pump because it fills itself when the valve is opened and the foam expands. Sit on it, open the valve, let out air, close the valve and you have a “custom contoured” seat cushion that is very lightweight. Excellent for use on an ultralight chair when trying to reduce as much weight as possible.

The GRZ accomplishes all this without needing pumps or adjustments. An adjustable strap secures the cushion to the chair for safety. The GRZ is 4" thick and is available in 16", 17", 18", 20", 22" and 24" widths. It’s coded E2622 and E2623.
