Solara 3G

Solara 3G

Invacare’s Solara 3G combines adjustability with easy-to-use tilt and a growable seat pan to match each user’s individual needs. The Tilt-Assist adjustment helps to correct for uneven weight distribution. A Low Shear Recline option minimizes potentially dangerous shearing forces. An optional DeGage dynamic rocker back accommodates clients with involuntary thrusting movements. The foot-operated wheel lock easily locks both rear wheels for caregiver convenience.

An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2017:

For end users who are harder on their equipment, the Solara 3G stands up to the hardest of users, and is still easy for caregivers to move around.

MyOn HC

MyOn HC

An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2017:

Great for active users, as it propels like a rigid-frame wheelchair, but folds for easier transport in a small vehicle. Lots of adjustability in axle position and multiple options for standard features, like front hangers.

Focus CR

Focus CR

An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2017:

Very adjustable seat-to-floor heights, growable seat pan, self-propel axle plate.

— Kathy Fallon, ATP, Kennebec Pharmacy & Home Care

An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2016:

Secure and smart tilt: These features make uncontrolled tilting no longer an issue. I used to hang onto wheelchair push handles to make sure that when tilt was activated, the seated individual would not be “dropped” or jolted into tilt. Very scary when that happens!

Motion Composites

Helio C2

Helio Manual Wheelchair

An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2017:

The Motion Composites Helio line is great in that with just changing the center brace, you can have a heavy-duty weight capacity of 350 lbs. with no additional weight of the chair. The chair already is the lightest K0005 I’ve ever used, so having an ultralight heavy-duty unit is nice. Also, the parts compatibility is really good across the Helio line. The carbon upgrade is competitive with titanium upgrades of other chairs, but cuts a huge amount of weight from an already light chair. This material is a game changer for weight: Titanium wasn’t really any lighter than the newest aluminums, but carbon is way lighter.
