Trident has a 450-lb. weight capacity with 22" or 24" seat widths, captain’s-style seating, a semi-reclining back and adjustable-height headrest. Padded armrests are height, width and angle adjustable. Consumers can enjoy a 4-mph top speed and a 15-mile maximum cruising range on flat-free, non-marking black tires. Apple fans — and their ATPs — rejoice! Curtiss-Wright has a new Bluetooth Module for iDevices to enable power wheelchair users to control iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch products via their PG Drives R-net electronics. The new module works with all existing R-net modules, without requiring firmware upgrades. And it can be operated via any R-net input device, including hand-, finger- and chin-operated joysticks and the Omni specialty control interface. There’s good news regarding non-Apple products, as well: Use the new module in tandem with existing R-net modules to create a singular system for Apple products, Android devices and Windows-based computers.
