QM-710
An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2015:
The QM-710 is made by Sunrise Medical and up until its introduction, patients did not have a good center-wheel-drive option, one that would handle well outdoors and still climb their ramps and lifts without needing to have some momentum behind it. That is because of the SpiderTrac suspension that it has — as the front wheels raise up to meet the new terrain, the drive wheels are forced down to keep good traction. The chair has a great turning radius for indoor mobility and great outdoor capability.

Permobil
F3 & F5 Power Bases
An ATP & Clinician Best Pick of 2015:
I have to give it to Permobil for their new F5 and F3 platforms. The new system really is well done. I think the fact that all configurations will eventually be done off of the same platform is pretty impressive. My clients who have seen the bases are impressed by the styling as well. I can’t wait to have them try it out in the clinic.

Quantum Rehab
iLevel Seat Elevation
The aptly named iLevel system enables its user to remain an active part of everyday conversations by rising to eye level (up to 10" of elevation) and driving the chair at walking speed (up to 3 mph). iLevel is part of an integrated powered seating system that simultaneously stabilizes the chair through an advanced combination of electronics and suspension. It’s available exclusively on the new Q6 Edge 2.0 power base.
PG Drives Technology
R-net CJSM2
Designed to be easy to use, the new CJSM2 features a large (3.5"), high-resolution and modern LCD screen with large, crisp graphics. A built-in light sensor automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness. Easy-to-use paddle switches handle on/off, profile, mode and speed adjustment selections. A loud speaker increases the horn volume, and a metal case protects the module from impacts.
Adaptive Switch Laboratories
Micro Extremity Control
This fully proportional joystick has a built-in mode change function and requires just 18 grams of force to deflect. Pushing directly down from neutral will reset the chair to the next mode that is turned on. A new feature: Changing the slide switch on the interface will allow the client to reset the reverse direction. This will benefit those who, due to weakness, don’t have another switch site available or can’t remove their hands from the joystick.
Quantum Rehab
Q6 Edge HD
Quantum Rehab describes this heavy-duty power chair as “real-world ready” thanks to ultra-high torque 4-pole motors, Mid-Wheel 6 Drive Design ATX Suspension and Group 24 batteries. The Q6 Edge HD accepts a range of rehab seating, including TRU-Balance Power Positioning, and has a weight capacity of 450 lbs.

The X3 has been submitted for K0848, 849, 856 and 861 Group 3 codes, with the goal of officially launching and taking orders in April.
