Next-Generation AGILITY Back
The next generation of ROHO AGILITY back systems offers significant enhancements, plus a five-year warranty on the shell and hardware, to match the replacement and funding needs of many wheelchair users. Enhancements include comfortable air and foam options; larger cutouts to the shell for a fresh new appearance; smaller and easier-to-install hardware; air/foam/cover ventilation system for improved breathability; and a lighter shell for easier transport.
Matrx Elite TR
The Invacare Matrx Elite TR back was
specially designed for manual or power
tilt-only or tilt/recline applications. With that
in mind, the back includes an extra layer of
SuperSoft HR foam for improved immersion
and comfort, and incorporates full support
across the client’s shoulder area. The Matrx
Elite TR’s “Easy Set” hardware installs and
adjusts in minutes, and all adjustments can
be made with the user still seated in the
wheelchair, for added convenience. Bariatric
Elite TR backs with a 500-lb. weight capacity
are also available.
Corbac Adjustable Back
Ride’s Corbac back support safely supports
the pelvis and trunk while helping to reduce
pressure and shear at the spine and sacrum.
Its adjustable tension design offers control,
comfort and protection with a quick,
easy-to-use mounting system. The 1.75-lb.
back can be precisely fit with adjustable
thoraco-lumbar-pelvic supports, and straps
provide almost infinite fine-tuning of
posterior and lateral contours. Spacer mesh
overlay promotes air circulation and wicks
moisture away from the back surface.
The Accessible Designs Inc. (ADI)
Q-Back, exclusively for Quantum Rehab’s

The Amara Therapeutic Wheelchair Back
System is designed to improve comfort and
support by eliminating the hammock effect
of standard wheelchair backs. Amara backs
were created to maintain spinal and shoulder
alignment and to provide superior pressure
redistribution. They’re available in three
configurations: fixed back, adjustable back,
or dual-zone back. The fixed and adjustable
backs are made of high-density Medflex
foam, while the dual-zone back has a combination
of Medflex and Viscotec memory form
for added comfort. All Amara backs have
Vyvex-III non-shear covers. The backs are
AGILITY Carbon Back System
With a compression-molded, lightweight
carbon fiber construction, the AGILITY
Carbon combines high-strength performance
with a streamlined design. With
single clamps on each side, hardware is
smaller, lighter and stronger than typical
fixed-back hardware. Discs lock into the
carbon fiber to create a solid backrest; when
loosened, the discs allow the shell to rotate
independently to provide 15° forward/rearward angle adjustment in 5° increments.
Widths range from 14" to 18" in 1" increments.

Contouring depths and location are fully
customizable on the Tarta Original back,
thanks to an array of interchangeable ribs.
The Tarta Original is made of harmonic
steel central plates that construct the spine;
composite vertebrae; a breathable AirMesh
cover; high-resiliency foam in all pads; and
lightweight aluminum ribs. This design
allows for an infinite height range (standard
heights are 8-14"), as well as outstanding
breathability. Hardware options include
rigid mount, height-adjustable rigid mount,
quick-remove cane mount and quick-remove,
bolt-on rigidizer bar.
Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare
With its 350-lb. weight capacity, this back is
designed for clients with mild positioning
needs, including kyphosis, rotation, scoliosis
or redundant back tissue. A 1" thick,
high-density foam pad provides optimal
pressure distribution to enhance client
comfort. The back secures directly over the
wheelchair’s canes for added stability and
safety. A breathable cover is fluid resistant
and easy to clean and maintain. The back,
which includes a carry pocket, folds with the
wheelchair for easy portability. It’s coded
E2611 and E2612.
