Members of the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) have approved a new leadership slate, the organization said in a news announcement.
Bill Guidetti (Executive VP, East Zone, Apria Healthcare) becomes Chairman of the Board. Gary Sheehan (CEO, Spiro Health) is the new Vice Chairman, and Seth Johnson (Senior VP, Pride Mobility Products Corp.) is the new Secretary.
Six people were elected to at-large board seats for a three-year term (2020-2023). They are Ryan Bullock, Aeroflow Inc.; Robert Fary, Inogen Corp.; Gordy Fox, Home Care Delivered; Casey Hoyt, Viemed; Josh Marx, Medical Service Company; and Eric Pauls, Philips Respironics.
AAHomecare noted that Bullock, Fox and Hoyt are new to the board, while Fary, Marx and Pauls were re-elected to the board.
The AAHomecare Board of Directors chose Josh Britten of BritKare Home Medical to serve “the remainder of an unexpired board seat which had become vacant.” Josh Marx will continue to serve on the Executive Committee, while board member Jeremy Stone, National Seating & Mobility, will now join the Executive Committee.
Rose Schafhauser, President of the Midwest Association of Medical Equipment Services and Executive Director of the Southwest Medical Equipment Suppliers Association, will join the board and Executive Committee due to her role as Chair of the State Leaders Council.
Barb Stockert also joins the board as Chair of the HME/RT Council. Stockert is Executive Director of the Pacific Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers and the Big Sky Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers.
