Abilities Expo Announces 2018 Schedule

October 30, 2017 by Laurie Watanabe

The Abilities Expo, a nationwide series of events aimed at consumers with disabilities, their families and caregivers, has released its full 2018 list of dates and venues.

The first event of the new year is in Toronto, Jan. 19-21.

The rest of the events occur in the United States. The first American venue is the Los Angeles Convention Center, Feb. 23-25. That’s followed by the New York Metro show (May 4-6); Chicago (June 29-July 1); Houston (Aug. 3-5); Boston (Sept. 21-23); Northern California/San Mateo (Oct. 26-28); and Washington, D.C. (Nov. 30-Dec. 2).

While mobility-related conditions remain a major focal point for attendees and exhibitors, the Abilities Expo also serves adults, including seniors, and children living with a wide range of disabilities.

In addition to the exhibit hall, each Abilities Expo includes educational sessions and demonstrations ranging from wheelchair dancing to wheelchair sports to service dog maneuvers.

Registration is free for attendees. For more information on the 2018 events (and the remaining Dec. 1-3 Washington, D.C. event this year), click HERE.
