After kicking off its 2006 tour with a successful show in Edison, N.J., the Abilities Expo’s next stop will be in Anaheim, Calif., June 16-18.
The consumer show series combines a professional, caregiver and end-user educational conference with a colorful exhibit hall of home medical equipment and automotive access products. While the Abilities Expo’s mission is to offer solutions for all types of disabilities, the mobility and rehab industries typically dominate. So do mobility consumers; past demonstrations have included wheelchair basketball and rugby, and last year Juliette Rizzo, Ms. Wheelchair America 2005, stopped by to pose for photos and sign autographs.
