Ability Members Group Adds Four Locations

August 18, 2021 by Laurie Watanabe

Ability Members Group is growing.

In an Aug. 12 news announcement, the Canadian home medical equipment provider network said it had added three new members, plus gained one more location when an existing member expanded by adding an office.

The three new members are Universal Health Products, serving the Windsor-Essex area of Ontario; Fisher’s Home Health Care, serving Red Deer and central Alberta; and Regency Medical Supplies, serving Burnaby, B.C.

Action Health Care, already a member of Ability Members Group, has expanded via a new office in Grand Bend, Ontario.

Jamie Church, CEO of Ability Members Group, said in the announcement, “The addition of these new locations further expands our services across Canada. Our national network provides important support across a wide range of products, including mobility aids, rehabilitation equipment, bathroom equipment, and home accessibility. We’re excited about our growth, as this continues to help us build competitive scale that empowers our members to serve their clients.”

Stan Murray, President of Ability Members Group, noted the rapid growth of the provider network. “Our strong growth over the last 18 months demonstrates the value that independent home medical equipment providers realize by being part of our network,” he said. “In 2017, we started with 15 locations and a commitment to helping our members grow through operational excellence, improving profitability, collaboration, and financial transparency. With these recent additions, we continue to build our capacity to support our members.”

Ability Members Group currently has locations across Canada, including in Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.
