Ability Members Group Adds Three Locations

January 21, 2022 by Laurie Watanabe

Ability Members Group, the Canadian network of home medical equipment and Complex Rehab Technology suppliers, has expanded again.

In a Jan. 17 news announcement, Ability Members Group welcomed 2Care4 Medical, which has two locations in Belleville and Smith Falls, Ontario. 2Care4 Medical has provided mobility and accessibility equipment for more than 20 years.

Nathalie Wilde, 2Care4’s owner, said in the announcement, “We are thrilled to be joining Ability [Members Group] and be part of this group of leaders in home health care. We joined because of the breadth of designated suppliers and the strong support across a national network that can help us learn and grow as we serve our communities.”

Ability Members Group also announced that an existing member — United Health Products — has opened a new location in Chatham, Ontario.

United Health Products’ spokesperson Shannon O’Donnell said in the announcement, “Our new location is going to allow us to serve more people, delivering important care, helping them with their health and lifestyle goals. The broad range of support provided by the team at Ability [Members Group] was crucial to enabling us to expand the way we have.”

United Health Products provides services and equipment to clients in long-term care, community facilities, and hospitals’ rehabilitation and complex care settings, and also supports pediatric clients.

Jamie Church, Ability Members Group’s CEO, said of this latest expansion, “It is very rewarding to see the strong growth we’ve had over the last year. Our continued growth, both through new members like 2Care4 and expansions like United Health Products, demonstrates the value we bring to the table. At the current growth rate, we should be hitting our target of 100 locations even sooner than we anticipated.”

The network currently has members in Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.
