Ability Members Group Adds Three Ontario Locations

November 3, 2021 by Laurie Watanabe

Ability Members Group has added three locations via two new members: Action Medical and Westin Healthcare.

In a Nov. 1 news announcement, the Canadian provider network welcomed Action Medical (with locations in Brantford and Woodstock, Ontario) and Westin Healthcare (located in Brampton, Ontario).

Linda MacLean, GM of Action Medical, said in the announcement, “We’re glad to join Ability Members Group because we now get to leverage larger scale while retaining our independence. With a team that is highly recommended by healthcare professionals, Action Medical is focused on ensuring their clients get the right solutions to address their needs.”

Westin Healthcare’s owner, Gurpeet Singh, said in the announcement, ”We’re looking forward to tapping into the best practices being shared across members. Working with these experienced home healthcare providers who are dealing with similar issues across the country will support us in providing the best possible care for our clients.”

Ability Members Group was founded in 2017, with just 15 members. The network is now closing in on the 100-member milestone, with locations in Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.

“Our ongoing growth reflects the value and benefits that we are able to bring to our members,” Jamie Church, CEO of Ability Members Group, said. “We’re excited to have Action Medical and Westin Healthcare on board. They bring energy, experience, and commitment to helping clients with aging at home and independent living.”
