The Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) has named José Domingos its new CEO.
In a letter last week to the industry, Domingos said, “If anything will change under my tenure, it will be in the way we expand upon the distinctions we already have, like responsive customer service and substantial, demonstrable value in return for the investment you make with us.”
In a news announcement, ACHC said Domingos “will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization, establishing and maintaining strategic relationships and partnerships, and developing and implementing plans to meet ACHC’s growth objectives.”
Prior to taking over as CEO, Domingos was ACHC’s VP of marketing and business development. He joined ACHC in 2011.
ACHC is making another move as well: The company is relocating to Cary, N.C., from its current headquarters in nearby Raleigh, ACHC said in the news announcement. The move should be completed shortly.
