AEL Announces GM, Sales & Marketing Promotions

July 17, 2015 by Laurie Watanabe

Adaptive Engineering Lab (AEL) has announced three staff promotions.

Jill Patty has been promoted to VP and general manager of AEL. In her new role, Patty will oversee AEL’s operations, manufacturing, sales, marketing and customer service units.

Patty’s tenure includes service with AEL and with its sister companies. She joined sister company Sunlite Plastics in 1992 as a sales rep, then moved up to director of sales. In 2006, Patty joined Medovations, another sister company of AEL, and worked on projects that established both channels of distribution for Medovations and AEL. Patty took over management of AEL sales in 2007.

Lindsay Koerner has been named the new sales manager for AEL. Koerner will now be responsible for the leadership and direction of the AEL sales team. Koerner started as a product specialist for AEL in 2012, then became a regional sales manager in 2014. Koerner won honors as the sales department’s Most Valuable Producer last year.

Alexis Kopca has been promoted to marketing manager and will now be responsible for leading and directing all marketing department activities and projects.

Kopca joined AEL in 2006 as a product specialist and immediately began helping to transfer customer service from AEL’s previous location in Seattle to Milwaukee. From there, Kopca migrated into product marketing, and as a product manager, Kopca is credited on AEL’s patent as the inventor of the award-winning AirLogic Posture Support line.
