Amylior has entered the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) market.
The Quebec-based manufacturer of seating, positioning and power wheelchairs is now producing disposable face masks.
The three-ply, single-use face masks measure 17.5 cm x 9.5 cm (6.9 inches x 3.7 inches) and are described as “ideal for wearing in [a]general environment for blocking pollutants and bacteria exhaled or droplets sprayed from the mouth and nose.” The masks are not designed for medical use.
The masks have inner and outer layers made of a non-woven material, plus a filter-cloth middle layer.
