May 22 Call-In Day to Urge Support for Rehab Carveout

A Thursday, May 22, nationwide call-in day is aiming to convince Congress to exclude complex rehab from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS) national competitive bidding program.

Rehab suppliers, clinicians, clients and other stakeholders are urged to call their two senators and their local representatives and encourage them to support H.R. 2231 and S. 2931, bills that remove complex rehab from competitive bidding.

Participants are also encouraged to add their calls to a running industry tally list by going back to the NCART site. Call-in sponsors are hoping to record 1,000 Congressional calls on May 22.
