Fastrack Completes First Phase of Expansion

Fastrack Healthcare Systems has finished the first part of an expansion that will continue into the new year and include adding staff members and increasing the functionalities of its Workflow Manager program.

The first part of the expansion, according to a news release, involved adding staff and in-house technology.

Said Fastrack President Spencer Kay, “We have added staff in customer service, quality assurance and technical support as a result of the large increase in new clients in 2009. In anticipation of our continued growth in 2010, we will be adding additional development programmers, trainers, implementation specialists and sales staff.”

Kay said the company has seen current clients grow in size, in part due to acquisitions and by absorbing the patient bases of providers who have closed down.

The company’s Workflow Manager will soon be able to process FSA debit cards within the Integrated Credit Card processing feature, Fastrack says.

Fastrack, based in Plainview, N.Y., provides specialized software and technology to DME suppliers.
