ROHO Expands Social Networking with Wheelchair User Community

With the goals of educating and empowering wheelchair users, The ROHO Group has debuted a pair of consumer-oriented Web sites: ROHOcommunity.com and liveroho.com.
ROHO calls ROHOcommunity.com "a lifestyle-oriented blog." Among its contributors: Dave McCausland, ROHO's senior VP of planning & government affairs. McCausland's first few blog entries have discussed the wisdom and common sense of the current "pay/go" policy philosophy in Washington, D.C.; how calculating the costs of bills (i.e., "scoring") can produce skewed results; and even the impact of holding a competitive bidding Program Advisory & Oversight Committee (PAOC) meeting on St. Patrick's Day.
The liveroho.com site offers ROHO users the chance to share their own stories and upload personal photos.
"It is about the experience of buying a ROHO," says Melissa Keim, VP of marketing, education and eBusiness. "ROHOcommunity.com and liveroho.com provide great opportunity for sharing common experience."
