Fastrack Acquires Prometheus Group Billing Service

Prometheus Group, which specializes in billing for home medical equipment, has been acquired by Fastrack Healthcare Systems.

Fastrack President/CEO Spencer Kay said in a news release, "We have had a great relationship with the Prometheus team for over two years. Prometheus utilizes the Fastrack HME software in their billing and cash posting services, and we have referred clients to them. The feedback has been outstanding, and we have been extremely impressed with their professionalism and industry knowledge."

As a result of the acquisition, Prometheus will establish Fastrack's billing division. Prometheus' employees in Georgia, South Carolina and India will staff the new division.

Said Prometheus Group founder Amy Lawson, "This is an exciting step for Prometheus. Powered by Fastrack, we will be able to offer what we know the DME/HME community really needs and what the market is demanding - a truly integrated end-to-end DME/HME Management solution."
