April’s PVA Awareness Month Focuses on Education & Advocacy

April is Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Awareness Month, and the organization’s theme this year is “The Big Push for Progress.”

PVA is celebrating its 67th anniversary of “changing lives and building futures for all veterans.” The organization’s year-long activities include advocating for quality Veterans Affairs healthcare and benefits, pushing for improved accessibility throughout the country, providing veterans with vocational assistance, investing in research to treat and cure paralysis, and promoting and providing adaptive sports opportunities.

For April, PVA is supporting Awareness Month events around the country. Click HERE to look for an event in your area.
