Ultimate Mobility Joins Numotion

The acquisitions keep coming for Numotion, which has announced it's added Ultimate Mobility in Worcester, Mass., to its organization.

In a news announcement, Ultimate Mobility was described as a regional provider whose staff "has forged a strong reputation for compassionate care and equipment expertise with clients and clinicians."

Numotion's Frank Biondello, regional executive VP, said of the acquisition, "The purchase of Ultimate Mobility by Numotion expands our presence in central and western Massachusetts and helps strengthen our services throughout the state. We're delighted to welcome the Ultimate Mobility team to our company, and it is an honor to be able to continue to serve and support Ultimate Mobility's many customers."

Ultimate Mobility's product lines include power and manual wheelchairs, scooters, standing & walking aids, home accessibility equipment, sports and recreational equipment, and seating. The business was established in 1999.

Numotion was formed earlier this year with the announcement that ATG Rehab and United Seating & Mobility, two of the largest seating & mobility providers in the country, had merged. The company announced its Numotion name at its ATP meeting in February. Numotion has more than 2,000 employees at 130 locations throughout the country.
