Kim Brummett Joins AAHomecare

Kim Brummett has joined the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) as its new senior director of regulatory affairs.

Brummett has served as senior director of regulatory and contracting for Advanced Home Care, a not-for-profit company offering home health services and DME. Advanced Home Care has 30 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

"I am very excited to be joining AAHomecare," Brummett said in a news announcement. "I have been involved with the organization for many years as a provider, and when the opportunity to change became available, I thought it was the right move. I love our industry and know we are important. We need to work with [Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services] and Congress to make this work. So I am ready, willing and able to do whatever I can to make our industry successful."

Brummett also currently serves as chairperson of the Jurisdiction C Advisory Council for the CGS DME MAC, and is immediate past president of the North Carolina Association for Medical Equipment Services.
