DME MACs Seek Provider Feedback

Medicare's DME MACs are looking for feedback from the providers they work with - and by registering to participate in the MAC Satisfaction Indicator (MSI), you could have the chance to share your opinions and experiences.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) describes the MSI as "a tool that measures your satisfaction with the Medicare claims administration contactors that serve you." Results of the MSI will be used "to improve the level of service offered to all Medicare Fee-for-Service providers."

Registration is open, and CMS says the process should take less than a minute. The form asks for the provider's name, job category, e-mail address, National Provider Identifier and Provider Transaction Access Number.

CMS will take a random sample of registrants and give them "an opportunity to express their satisfaction with their MAC."
