Stealth Products Acquires Xplore Mobility

Stealth Products has acquired Xplore Mobility, manufacturer of specialized pediatric seating & mobility equipment, including the stroller-style Dyno and Trak chairs.

Xplore Mobility's product portfolio includes three- and four-wheeled chairs that can be fitted with Activator Dynamic Seating components. The Be wheelchair model passed crash testing, Xplore Mobility has said.

With the acquisition, Xplore President Wayne Hanson, well known in the industry for developing a large range of pediatric mobility products, joins Stealth.

Stealth Products' CEO Lorenzo Romero said in announcing the new deal, "Teaming up with a designer of Wayne Hanson's caliber provides Stealth with a new vision of where we can take our pediatric product portfolio moving forward."
