Home Care Medical Wins WAMES Awards

Home Care Medical won several awards at this month’s Wisconsin Association of Medical Equipment Services (WAMES) annual convention.

Jim Spellman, Home Care Medical’s director of operations who also serves as WAMES president, received the Industry Excellence award. For his work on WAMES’s legislative committee, Spellman also was given the association’s Distinguished Service award.

Donna Smith, Home Care’s director of respiratory care, received the Outstanding Contribution award in recognition of her work on the association’s respiratory committee.

John Teevan, Home Care Medical’s CEO and president, said about the awards, “WAMES provides leadership, strength and unity to the home medical equipment industry in Wisconsin. From lobbying in Madison for oxygen issues to providing support on the WAMES board, Jim and Donna’s contributions represent our continued commitment to excellence.”

Home Care Medical has four locations in Milwaukee, New Berlin, Sheboygan and West Bend, Wisc. The offices provide complex rehab technology as well as respiratory, DME, home infusion, hospice and enteral nutrition services.
