AccessNSM Names New VP

Kalen McKenzie has been named VP of AccessNSM, the home accessibility division of National Seating & Mobility.

In an Aug. 10 announcement, NSM said McKenzie “will be focused on integrations and organic growth for the company, a comprehensive resource for products supporting mobility and independence.”

McKenzie was on a panel of executives who spoke to their ATPs at NSM’s symposium in Nashville last month.

NSM CEO Bill Mixon said of the new appointment, “Kalen’s experience and expertise will be extremely valuable to AccessNSM. His leadership will play an integral role in the continued strategic growth of the company.”

McKenzie’s previous positions include VP of national accounts for Invacare Corp.

As NSM’s accessibility arm, AccessNSM currently has 12 locations in nine states. AccessNSM sells stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, vehicle lifts, door-opening systems and bath safety equipment to improve home and environmental accessibility. AccessNSM also offers home assessment services.
