Jim Noland Joins NSM

Complex rehab veteran Jim Noland has joined National Seating & Mobility.

In a news announcement, NSM said it had named Noland its new director of clinical development. In that role, Noland will “be responsible for developing clinical and professional relationships to support the continued growth of NSM,” the national provider said.

Bill Mixon, NSM’s CEO, said of the hire, “Jim’s background in medical technologies, coupled with his commitment to service, make him a great addition to our team. We’re proud to have him aboard and are pleased to welcome him to the NSM family.”

Noland said of his new position, “NSM offers an exciting growth opportunity to CRT professionals. I am excited to take on this new role and look forward to being a part of accelerating NSM’s mission.”

Noland has had a long career in the healthcare industry, having founded Presque Isle Medical Technologies, an orthotics and prosthetics provider, and Conduit Technology, which was acquired last year by Brightree. He has also worked as a PTA, focusing on clients with orthopaedic issues, wound issues, brain injury and spinal cord injury.

Noland and his wife, Janet, have also supported people with disabilities during mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Honduras.
