Mobility Product Awards Shines Spotlight on CRT & Accessibility
As niche industries, Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) and home/vehicle accessibility don’t always get the attention they deserve for their creative, cutting-edge solutions.
Mobility Management’s annual Mobility Product Awards program is seeking to change all that.
Manufacturers and distributors of current complex rehab, mobility, and accessibility products are now being invited to submit their entries via the Mobility Management Web site in categories ranging from seat cushions to manual and power wheelchairs (Groups 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) to ramps and vehicle wheelchair securement systems.
Winners will be recognized in Mobility Management print and digital stories this summer, and winners will receive trophies at the 2021 International Seating Symposium in Pittsburgh.
Seating and mobility clinicians and providers do the judging.
“This is a great opportunity for manufacturers to show off innovative seating, mobility and accessibility products that are facilitating greater independence for people with disabilities,” said Mobility Management Editor Laurie Watanabe. “It’s an even playing field, where smaller manufacturers can also be recognized for their creative thinking and engineering excellence.
