National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has expanded its presence in the Land of Enchantment.
In a May 26 news announcement, the national Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) provider said it has acquired Sandia Wheelchairs and Sandia Surgical Supply, based in Albuquerque.
Sandia Wheelchairs sells CRT seating and wheeled mobility, while Sandia Surgical Supply sells durable medical equipment, including wound care, incontinence supplies, aids to daily living, and accessibility equipment. The news announcement said that NSM “will expand local service offerings in the Albuquerque area to include incontinence, urologicals and other disposable supplies.”
Jason Lovato, ATP, CRTS, is transitioning from Sandia Wheelchairs to NSM as part of the acquisition.
Bill Mixon, NSM’s CEO, said in the announcement, “Services supporting independence often go beyond the chair, and we are committed to serve as a trusted resource to meet our clients’ needs. We look forward to bringing a full suite of mobility and accessibility solutions to those who need them in the Albuquerque.”
