Podcast Update: NCART Discusses Next CRT Steps in COVID-19 World

In the early weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) industry focused on developing new processes for everyday tasks such as conducting a seating eval, doing final fittings for a new wheelchair, and delivering CRT equipment to clients.

While there have been some success stories — remote and telehealth strategies being top of the list — it’s now clear that the pandemic’s impact will be long lasting.

In Mobility Management’s latest podcast, Advocacy in a Pandemic, NCART Executive Director Don Clayback and Director of Advocacy & Communication Mickae Lee talk about how the current public health emergency will continue to affect CRT on the federal and state levels.

The conversation also includes advocacy activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as this year’s CRT Awareness Week, scheduled for August.
