NSM Acquires Accessibility Company in Albany, N.Y.

National Seating & Mobility’s (NSM) latest acquisition is an accessibility company based in Albany, N.Y.

The Albany Lift Company serves customers in upstate New York, western Massachusetts, and southern Vermont, NSM said in a March 22 news announcement.
Bill Mixon, NSM’s CEO, said in the announcement, “The Albany Lift Company has a strong reputation for customer service that aligns well with NSM’s client-centric focus. We are proud to welcome this group of experienced professionals on board at NSM and look forward to working with this team to expand the comprehensive mobility and accessibility solutions available throughout the northeast.”
The Albany Lift Company has specialized in stairlifts, elevators, vertical platform lifts, and ramps. In addition to installing accessibility products, the company has also done custom work, such as building landings and modifying staircases to accommodate stairlifts.
President/CEO Terry Farrigan and 18 team members of The Albany Lift Company will transition to NSM and continue to serve clients in the area.
