The European Seating Symposium (ESS) has launched a new series of Webinars focused on seating and wheeled mobility.
The Knowledge Series, sponsored by Healthcare21, is described as focusing “on key topics for clinicians working in the field of seating and wheeled mobility, as well as acute and community-based healthcare settings, including disability and rehabilitation services.”
Upcoming topics include pressure injury prevention and management; custom contoured seating; and spinal cord injury-associated complications and implications for seating and assistive technology.
In a June 2 news announcement, the ESS Webinar group said the series is designed for occupational and physical therapists/physiotherapists, clinical and rehab engineers, nurses, seating and mobility suppliers, students, and other professionals working in healthcare settings.
Each 60-minute Webinar will include a live Q&A session, and attendees will be provided with certificates of attendance. Because the Webinars are scheduled for Irish Standard Time, they’re also being recorded so professionals in other time zones can attend on demand.
