Lifeway Mobility, a fast-growing accessibility provider, has announced a new investment partner.
A news announcement said Cressey & Company LP, a healthcare-focused private investment firm, has invested in Lifeway Mobility, which currently has 13 locations across the country.
Lifeway specializes in home accessibility and safety solutions, including stairlifts, ramps and lifts, transfer equipment, and bath safety products.
The announcement said Cressey & Company’s investment will “provide additional capital and resources to enable Lifeway to accelerate its growth.”
Tim Burfield, Lifeway Mobility’s Chairman, added, “Welcoming Cressey & Company is especially exciting and gratifying for me. We’ve built two other leading companies with Bryan Cressey and his team over many years. They are outstanding partners and true healthcare innovators.”
Lifeway’s expansion plans include acquiring other accessibility provider businesses to create “regional hubs” across the country, as well as growing current offices.
Paul Bergantino, President of Lifeway Mobility, said, “We’re building the leading accessibility company by collaborating with healthcare providers, payers and managers; launching unique consumer outreach campaigns; investing in successful regional providers; and recruiting leading industry talent. Cressey & Company’s resources, healthcare expertise and extensive relationships will be instrumental to our success.”
