In an Oct. 4 news announcement, NSM said it had acquired a Complex Rehab Technology (CRT)/DME business in Red Deer, Alberta.

Bill Mixon, NSM’s CEO, said in the news announcement, “At NSM, our desire is to help individuals gain access to the full range of mobility solutions and accessibility services currently available. This acquisition deepens our commitment to our Canadian customers and broadens our reach, allowing us to support even more individuals in their journey to achieve greater independence.”

Ian Findlater started the business in Red Deer in 2017. As part of the acquisition agreement, Findlater, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the CRT and mobility industries, will transition to NSM and serve as Rehab Manager.

The Alberta acquisition raises the number of NSM offices in Canada to 23, located across six provinces.
