Reliable Medical Acquires California Provider

Reliable Medical is now doing business in the Golden State.

On May 11, the provider announced it had acquired Hometown Medical Supplies LLC, headquartered in San Jose, Calif.

Hometown Medical Supplies provides both durable medical equipment (DME) and Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) for adult and pediatric clients. The announcement noted that the purchase of Hometown Medical “expands [Reliable Medical’s] commitment to provide the highest level of clinical solutions to a larger patient base in need of customized mobility solutions.”

Hometown Medical Suppliers uses a network of “showrooms, service hubs, mobile vans, and visiting representatives” to serve much of California.

Katie Stevens, CEO of Reliable Medical, said in the announcement, “We are pleased to welcome Hometown to the Reliable family. Reliable Medical, headquartered near Minneapolis, provides CRT and DME to clients in California, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.
